Placing an Ad or Auction

To place an ad or auction on AutoATL is easy. Once you have registered on the site you will need to login on the home page with your user tag and password. Next you will be taken to your “My AutoATL.Com” page as seen In figure 2.1.

In the “My AutoATL.Com” section of the site you will see all the administrative options for you personal account. In addition, if you have an item on auction, sell, or if you have bid on a item you can check the status of it here. The Action List (as seen in figure 2.2) gives you the option to place an ad or an auction, select the one you wish to use.

After you have selected the type of posting you want to use you will be taken to the Item Information page (as seen in figure 2.3).

Here you will need to fill in all the information about the item, including the description and pictures. If you are posting an auction you will select the length of it on this page also.

Click the Preview Posting at the bottom of the page. You will then see a preview of your posting. If everything is correct click on the “Move On To Payment” tab. If there is something wrong or if changes need to be make you will need to click on edit posting. Once you click on the move on to payment tab you will be asked to put in your credit card information to make the payment for posting. Once that is done you item will be posted.
