Placing a bid

Placing a bid on an item at AutoATL is easy. Your first step is to ensure that you’re registered to the site and the registration is confirmed. Once that is done you must login with your user tag and password. Browse the site until you find the item that you’re interested in bidding on. The item page will give you a bid button on the listing (as seen in figure 1.1.).

Click on the bid on this car button and you will be taken to the bid amount page. On this page you will put in the amount you are willing to bid on for that item in increments of $10. Once you have put in the amount you want to bid click on the “bid this amount” button. You will then be the highest bidder. You can be out bid if someone else bids higher but there is no limit to how many times you bid per auction.

If you win an auction all the information of the seller will be emailed to you and all of the user’s info will be sent to the seller. All additional shipment and payment agreements will be done through the seller and the buyer.
